Over the course of the pandemic people have used screens for many reasons, which has been helpful in many ways; but it has also caused many concerns as well. Increased time on screens has cause more issues with sleep, relationships, academic performance, and mental health. It’s time to work on changing our relationship with screens in order to improve our well being and take steps towards a more healthy, happy, and fulfilling life. Natalie is a licensed professional counselor at Digital Media Treatment and Education Center. She specializes in helping kids, teens, adults, and families who struggle with digital media overuse and the common co-occurring conditions that are often seen with digital media overuse.
