Bridging Gaps
PEN Programs & Services will help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be as a parent.
Parent Education
Parent education is the foundation for being able to make parenting decisions.
Our Offerings
PEN provides opportunities for you to have access to the most up-to-date, relevant, and important parenting information. This include things like in-person and virtual presentations, webinars, documentary showings, connections to other expert’s vetted content, and downloadable materials. See our events calendar for current offerings.
Why It Is Important
You have between 60 and 80,000 thoughts in a given day. This means 42 – 55 thoughts every minute. These thoughts come from what you already know. That means that you need new information to have new thoughts, and to take new actions that make a difference in your parenting. Without it, you are forced to solve new problems with old information.

Continue your education from the comfort of your own home with our online programs.

Cultures of Dignity Tiny Guides
Watch our webinar, Managing Emotions in Hard Times!
Tiny guides are concise summaries of complex ideas. They are called “tiny guides” because they are exactly that…tiny! Parents can get bombarded with information and it can be difficult to know what’s relevant, high quality, and useful. These guides are built on two main ideas. First, each guide is grounded in the concept of dignity. Dignity is the belief that all people matter the same amount no matter what. Second, the tiny guides make it easier to learn complex but important social-emotional skills. By combining the concepts of dignity and social-emotional learning, the guides provide a way to learn more about yourself, your children, and how to interact effectively with others.
